AG&P to develop Indian LNG terminal

Philippines-based Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific Co. has signed an agreement to develop an LNG terminal at Karaikal Port on the east coast of India.

Philippines-based Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific Co. (AG&P) has signed an agreement to develop an LNG terminal at Karaikal Port on the east coast of India.

AG&P also has exclusive rights to supply LNG to Indian power generator PPN Power.

Karaikal Port has allocated an area for the development of an LNG terminal to serve the power and industrial sectors and other customers in the region.

It received environmental approval in May 2017.
