The United Arab Emirates is interested in Lithuania’s experience in the small-scale LNG sector, Lithuanian Energy Minister Zygimantas Vaiciunas has told the Baltic Business Daily.
"They indeed see a potential in terms of small-scale project management and that they could possibly work with Klaipedos Nafta," the energy minister said.
The two countries signed a memorandum in Dubai last week to "facilitate cooperation in fields of renewable energy and energy saving", Vaiciunas told the newspaper.
He added it was too early to talk about specific contracts.
