Iran and Russia have signed agreements aimed at fostering cooperation between the gas sectors of the two countries.

Iran and Russia have signed agreements aimed at fostering cooperation between the gas sectors of the two countries.

The agreements were signed on the margins of a visit to Iran by Russian President Vladimir Putin. They cover the potential for a partnership to develop Iran’s gas fields as well as the transport of gas, including liquefaction, according to a Gazprom press release
