CNOOC renews FSRU contract for winter season

CNOOC has renewed a regasification and storage service contract with Engie for the coming winter season.

China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) has renewed a regasification and storage service contract with France’s Engie for the coming winter season.

The contract will be fulfilled by the GDF Suez Cape Ann FSRU in the northern Chinese port city of Tianjin.

The FSRU arrived in Tianjin fully loaded with LNG and started operations on 28 October.

It will remain in the Chinese port until spring 2018.
