Wison Offshore & Marine and KBR have signed a memorandum agreeing to cooperate on Kumul Petroleum’s proposed 1.5 mtpa FLNG vessel offshore Papua New Guinea.

Wison and KBR will collaborate on a mutually exclusive basis for the project, near Kikori in PNG’s Gulf Province.

Wison built the world’s first barge-based FLNG vessel, Caribbean FLNG, for Belgium’s Exmar, which it delivered in July 2017.
