FERC opens review on Fourchon LNG environmental impact statement

The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has opened a review on the environmental impact statement for Louisiana’s Fourchon LNG project.

The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has opened a review on the environmental impact statement (EIS) for Louisiana’s Fourchon LNG project.

Project owner Energy World Group plans to develop the facility in two phases. The first phase will have a capacity of 2 mtpa and the second will have a capacity of 3 mtpa.

Comments on the EIS are to be submitted on or before 6 December, FERC said.
