Origin Energy sees revenue boost in Q3 as APLNG increases output

Origin Energy reported an increase in its Q3 revenues resulting from increased output at its APLNG project in Queensland and higher energy prices.

Origin Energy reported an increase in its Q3 oil and gas revenues resulting from increased output at its APLNG project in Queensland and higher energy prices, The West Australian reported.

Oil and gas revenues for Q3 increased to $678.6 million, up by 58% compared with the same period in 2016 but by only 1% from the previous quarter.

Sydney-based Origin holds a 37.5% stake in APLNG, which produced its first LNG cargo in October 2016.
