LNG Canada contracts with Rio Tinto for wharf removal, pending FID

The LNG Canada project has contracted with Rio Tinto to build a wharf to replace an existing terminal.

The LNG Canada project has contracted with mining company Rio Tinto to build a wharf to replace an existing Rio Tinto terminal that needs to be relocated if plans for the export plant are to move forward.

The move was misunderstood by some on social media as a sign FID was about to be made.
