Naftogaz concerned over Russian gas supplies this winter

Gazprom’s inability to maintain the contracted gas pressure on the Ukraine-Russia border is raising concern about the security of gas supplies from Russia to Europe this winter, Naftogaz Ukrainy said in a statement on Thursday.

Citing Ukrainian transmission system operator Ukrtransgaz, Naftogaz said Gazprom had failed to maintain the contracted pressure at the Sudzha entry point to Ukraine on 259 days since the beginning of the year, or 88% of the time.
