LNG Ltd suspends planned move to US

LNG Ltd has suspended plans to become an American company while it concentrates on marketing LNG.

Australia-based LNG Ltd, has suspended plans to become an American company while it concentrates on marketing LNG from its planned Magnolia LNG project in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.

LNG Ltd announced in the summer that it was considering re-domiciling to the United States to increase the value of its stock.

The company is said to be worth less than other US export project developers because of its Australian listing, Chief Operating Officer John Baguley told reporters in June.
