Hurricane Nate hits gas production in Gulf of Mexico

Around 12.4% of the Gulf of Mexico’s gas production has been shut in after Hurricane Nate, Reuters has reported, citing the United States Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement.

However, Nate is the weakest of the series of devastating hurricanes to have hit the southern US and the Caribbean in recent weeks.
