PetroChina launches Shanghai-Rudong LNG pipeline

PetroChina has launched a pipeline linking Shanghai to the Rudong LNG terminal in Jiangsu province, the company has announced.

PetroChina has launched a pipeline linking Shanghai to the Rudong LNG terminal in Jiangsu province, the company has announced.

The pipeline is 88 km long and has a designed capacity of 1.84 billion cubic metres per year. It will transport gas from Rudong to Shanghai’s Chongming district.

The pipeline is owned by PetroChina, Shenergy Group Co. and Jiangsu Yangkou Port Co.
