Snam completes acquisition of 7.3% of Adriatic LNG

Italian transmission system operator Snam has completed the acquisition of a 7.3% share in Adriatic LNG and 100% of ITG from Edison.

Italian transmission system operator Snam has completed the acquisition of a 7.3% share in Adriatic LNG and 100% of Infrastrutture Trasporto Gas (ITG) from Edison, Snam said in a note on Friday.

Adriatic LNG owns and operates the terminal off the coast of Italy near Rovigo while ITG operates the 83.3-km Cavarzere-Minerbio gas pipeline, which links the terminal with the Italian gas transmission network.
