Competitive trade policies needed to attract investors to Canada – CAPP

Canada's reserves will be developed only if the government can create competitive trade and regulatory policies, CAPP said this week.

Canada can share its oil and gas resources, but its reserves will be developed only if the government can create competitive trade and regulatory policies to attract international investors, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) said in a statement published this week.

Canada has the world’s third-largest reserves of crude oil and abundant gas resources, but the country has limited access to global markets, CAPP said.
