Shell Australia’s new chair, Zoe Yujnovich, has hit back at accusations that the LNG export plants in eastern Australia are causing a shortage of supply and high prices for the domestic market, according to The Australian.

Yujnovich said Shell is selling more gas into the domestic market since developing the Queensland Curtis LNG plant.

She also said reports that Japan was receiving LNG at a lower cost than Australian manufacturers are false.
