Bahrain is considering building a gas pipeline to Saudi Arabia to enable it to re-export LNG from its terminal when it starts up in 2019, according to the Bahraini oil minister.

"Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and others will have access to LNG infrastructure in Bahrain, for example. The idea is to eventually have everybody linked up by gas. That is a concept under consideration," Mohammed bin Khalifa al-Khalifa told Reuters.
