GL Africa Energy power plant negotiations continue in Mozambique

Mozambique is still negotiating a memorandum of understanding with GL Africa Energy to build a power plant in northern Mozambique using the government’s domestic gas allocation, the country’s deputy minister of mineral resources and energy has told Interfax Natural Gas Daily.

GL Africa submitted plans last year to build a 250 MW power plant in Nacala as part of Mozambique’s domestic gas tender.
