Gazprom Neft picks Petrofac to service Kurdish Garmian field

Gazprom Neft Middle East has selected Petrofac for a three-year master services agreement covering the Garmian field in Iraqi Kurdistan.

Gazprom Neft Middle East has selected Petrofac for a three-year master services agreement covering the Garmian field in Iraqi Kurdistan, according to a statement from Petrofac.

Gazprom Neft has operated Garmian since early 2016.

Petrofac will provide engineering services to support planned brownfield works that will debottleneck and expand the central processing facility.

Gazprom Neft is still interested in operating in Kurdistan, a company source told Reuters, rebutting reports it had frozen projects in the province.
