Novatek is considering investing in regasification infrastructure in Asia to underpin demand for its LNG, Chief Executive Leonid Mikhelson told journalists.

"There are developing markets – for example, Pakistan and India. We are considering investment opportunities in regasification and in infrastructure to transport gas from terminal to consumers on these markets, to have guaranteed sales of our goods. A whole range of talks are under way," he said.
