Italian oil and gas major Eni plans to explore off the coast of Crete, Greek newspaper Ekathimerini said on Sunday.
According to anonymous sources quoted by the paper, Eni will take part in tenders for offshore oil and gas exploration southwest and west of Crete published in the Journal of the Greek Republic on 11 August.
The same area has also attracted the attention of a consortium of Hellenic Petroleum, Total and Edison, which sent its expression of interest to explore two blocks...
