Saudi Arabia and Russia will sign energy deals worth more than $3 billion during the state visit of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz to Moscow on Thursday, the Financial Times reported.

Alexander Novak, Russia’s energy minister, told the newspaper that unnamed Saudi companies were in talks to invest in Novatek’s Arctic LNG 2 project.

However, Saudi Aramco Chief Executive Amin Nasser told Reuters on Thursday that his company had no plans to take a stake in the $27 billion liquefaction facility.
