China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) has said Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding Group will complete the construction of an LNG carrier for Shell’s Queensland Curtis LNG Project on 10 October.
The 174,000 cubic metre Pan Asia vessel will be the first of four ships that will ferry LNG from the Australian project to China.
The LNG carrier is jointly owned by CNOOC Energy Development, China LNG Shipping Holdings and Teekay.
