Shell is aiming to open its first petrol-free UK service station in 2018, The Telegraph reported on Monday, quoting sources close to the company.
The station will offer biofuels, electric vehicle charging points and hydrogen cell refuelling while the buildings will be powered by solar panels on the roof.
A site in central London has been chosen for the station.
