Australia is facing a more severe gas shortage than previously thought, The Sydney Morning Herald has reported Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull as saying.
The government has received reports from the Australian Energy Market Operator and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission that have suggested the shortages on the country’s east coast could be considerably higher than estimated six months ago.
