Gazprom will have allocated around $1 billion of additional financing in 2017 to build the Power of Siberia pipeline and equip the Chayanda oil and gas condensate field, a source familiar with company plans told Interfax.
Gazprom revised its budget and investment programme for 2017 last week. The construction of the 2,156-km pipeline from Chayanda, in eastern Siberia, to the border with China began near Blagoveshchensk in September 2014.
