Atlantic LNG’s gas processing facility in Point Fortin in southwestern Trinidad was evacuated on Tuesday following a fire at one of its power generation units, the Trinidad Daily Express reported.

“The company’s response and safety systems immediately activated as per design,” Atlantic LNG said in a release.

The company is in the process of advising stakeholders, including BP and Shell. Last month, the facility was evacuated following a leak at one of its liquefaction trains.
