Russia increases gas flows through Ukraine

Gazprom plans to up flows via Ukraine in response to maintenance on Nord Stream, but Naftogaz says significant order fluctuations are not covered by the contract between the companies

Gazprom has submitted an order for increased gas flows to its European customers via the Ukrainian gas transport system, according to Ukrainian national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy. Flows have had to be increased via Ukraine’s system because of maintenance on the 55 billion cubic metre per year Nord Stream pipeline between Russia and Germany.
