Drop in pipeline gas and LNG trade on SHPGX

Pipeline gas transactions on the Shanghai Petroleum and Gas Exchange fell by 78 MMcm last week while LNG trades dropped by more than 6,500 tons

Wholesale prices for Chinese ex-works LNG averaged RMB 3,138/t ($9.31/MMBtu) last week, nearly unchanged from the previous week. Twenty-six plants in Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shanxi, Henan, Shaanxi and Ningxia cut their asking prices by 3.04% week on week to make their output more competitive against LNG from terminals.
