Uniper to buy 40 bcm of gas from Shah Deniz 2

German utility Uniper has revealed the amount of gas it will purchase from Azerbaijan’s Shah Deniz gas field as part of a long-term supply agreement signed in 2013.

"Our long-term gas supply agreement covers 40 billion cubic metres in total over its lifetime […] We expect no deviations from the contractual arrangements," company spokesperson Georg Oppermann told Trend News Agency on Tuesday.
