Southwest Oil & Gas output hits 15 bcm so far this year

PetroChina’s Southwest Oil & Gas Field subsidiary had produced 15 billion cubic metres of gas as of 5 September, equal to 72.3% of its 2017 target.

The company produced 56.3 million cubic metres on Tuesday.

The company operates the Changning-Weiyuan shale gas blocks, which have produced 1.7 bcm in 2017 so far.
