EPC complete for more than 50% of Trans-Adriatic Pipeline

All EPC work has been completed for more than 50% of the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), a note from the Switzerland-based project consortium said on Thursday.

The company said that about 70% of the project route in Greece and Albania had been cleared and more than 45% of the welded steel pipes for the route had been laid.

“We are pleased that TAP continues to progress on time and on budget. We therefore remain on track to deliver the first Shah Deniz 2 gas in 2020,”...
