The global LNG market is not likely to rebalance until 2024, according to the latest LNG outlook published by Cedigaz.

Growth in supply will outpace demand to 2020, but the report suggests that LNG production could decline because of ageing facilities and shrinking resources after 2021.

Demand for LNG is expected to reach 503 mt by 2035. This is good news for developers in East Africa, North America and Russia that are seeking to build new LNG export capacity.
