AGDC receives two expressions of interest in capacity at Alaska LNG

The Alaska Gasline Development Corp. (AGDC) has received two expressions of interest to reserve capacity at Alaska’s planned $40 billion LNG project, the company told local news last week.

“We cannot identify the two North Slope companies who submitted proposals, nor the amount of volume for which they seek capacity,” AGDC spokeswoman Rosetta Alcantra said.

BP, ConocoPhillips and ExxonMobil own most of the North Slope’s 991 billion cubic metres of gas reserves, with the majority of the volumes belonging to Exxon. AGDC also has plans...
