Pacific Hunt Energy plans four exploratory wells in Myanmar

Pacific Hunt Energy plans to drill four exploratory wells in blocks PSC C-1 and PSC H in Myanmar in 2018 and 2019, according to Reuters.

The blocks are onshore and the wells aim to confirm the presence of hydrocarbons. Pacific has contracted independent consultant Artelia to perform environmental impact assessments on the blocks in preparation for the drilling.

The company will also request tenders from qualified firms to provide drilling services within the next 60 days. The total acreage of the blocks is in excess of 4.2...
