Petrofac to build Turkish Stream terminal in Kıyıköy

UK company Petrofac has been assigned an EPC contract from South Stream Transport for the development of onshore pipelines and a gas terminal near Kıyıköy in Turkey, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The contract is worth about €340 million ($406 million) and requires Petrofac to make the terminal ready for commercial operation in December 2019. The facility will receive 31.5 billion cubic metres of gas per year from the Turkish Stream pipeline.
