Chinese wholesale LNG prices averaged RMB 3,156/t ($9.33/MMBtu) in August, inching up by 0.19% from July, as several plants in the northwest suspended production. The Tianjin terminal has suspended sales for the duration of the 13th Chinese National Games, which started in Tianjin on 27 August and conclude on 8 September. Twenty-six plants in Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Shaanxi and Ningxia hiked asking prices by an average of 2.28% from July.
