Algerian growth boosts Africa-Europe pipeline exports

North African pipeline exports to Europe rose by 22.1% in Week 34 as higher Algerian exports more than offset declines from Libya

North African pipeline exports to Europe rose by 22.1% in Week 34 from a week earlier, to 440.1 million cubic metres (MMcm), as higher Algerian exports more than offset declines from Libya. Deliveries to Spain from Algeria via the Maghreb-Europe pipeline rose by 43.1%, to 80.0 MMcm, while Medgaz volumes were up by 6.0%, to 90.6 MMcm. Algerian gas flows to Italy via the Trans-Med pipeline rose by 66.1%, to 231.9 MMcm. GreenSream deliveries of Libyan gas fell by 52.7%, to 37.6 MMcm.
