Ukraine reports H1 2017 gas imports

Ukraine imported 6.65 billion cubic metres of gas worth a total of $1.54 billion over the first six months of 2017.

Ukraine imported 6.65 billion cubic metres of gas worth a total of $1.54 billion over the first six months of 2017, the country’s State Statistics Service has reported.

Ukraine paid an average of $216.6 per thousand cubic metres (Mcm: $5.90/MMBtu) for imported gas in May and June compared with  $209.6/Mcm in April, $234.7/Mcm in March, $252.5/Mcm in February and $244.6/Mcm in January.

Ukraine did not import any gas from Russia over the period.
