US clears 50% share of Mexico’s gas imports

More than half of Mexico’s energy imports now come from the United States.

More than half of Mexico’s energy imports now come from the United States, according to a report that will be published this week by Platts.

Mexico’s gas imports from its northern neighbour rose by 36.6% in 2016 compared with the previous year, but have remained flat so far in 2017.
