State-owned China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) has said its pipeline unit should be ready to play a role as China ramps up the construction of oil and gas pipelines over the next decade.

The unit should help CNPC maximise the value of its oil and gas supply chains both upstream and downstream, the company said, citing comments made at the unit’s H1 work conference, which took place on Wednesday and Thursday.
