Petronet in talks to buy 16% in Ennore LNG terminal

India’s Petronet is in talks to purchase a 16% stake in the Ennore LNG terminal, which is being built by Indian Oil Corp. on India’s east coast.

India’s Petronet is in talks to purchase a 16% stake in the Ennore LNG terminal, which is being built by Indian Oil Corp. on India’s east coast, according to The Economic Times.

The 5 mtpa facility is expected to cost INR 51.5 billion ($802 million). Petronet is also reportedly in talks with Gujarat State Petroleum Corp. to purchase a stake in the Mundra LNG terminal, which is being built in Gujarat.
