ONGC Videsh, the foreign arm of India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corp., plans to invest $150 million in exploration during the current fiscal year to drill wells in Bangladesh, Colombia and Kazakhstan, according to The Financial Express.

The company operates the CPO 5 block in Colombia and has made a discovery with the Mariposa 1 exploration well.

Bangladesh and India discussed the prospect of exploring in the Bay of Bengal last March.
