Oilfield services company Baker Hughes, which was recently acquired by GE, has been awarded a contract to develop Papua New Guinea’s first offshore gas field, according to Reuters.
The company will provide services for the development of the Pasca A gas condensate field, ranging from well-drilling and appraisal to production and gas processing.
The contract was awarded by Australian exploration and production company Twinza Oil.
