Engie announces first gas from Cygnus Bravo

Engie’s E&P arm has produced first gas from the Bravo wellhead at the Cygnus development in the North Sea.

Engie’s E&P arm has produced first gas from the Bravo wellhead at the Cygnus development in the North Sea, the company said in a note.

Gas was sent on Tuesday from the Bravo platform to the Alpha platform, which lies 150 km off the coast of Lincolnshire. It was then combined with Alpha’s output and piped via a 55-km link to the Esmond Transmission System, which lands at the Bacton gas terminal in Norfolk.
