Chinese wholesale LNG prices averaged RMB 3,150/t ($9.05/MMBtu) in July, up by 2.84% from June. Flooding in northern Shaanxi cut output and sales at local plants with producers and suppliers elsewhere raising prices in response. Forty-five plants in Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shanxi, Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Jilin and Heilongjiang increased their prices by an average of 5.21% from June.
