Cameroon’s government has come to a consensus with NewAge, the operator of the Etinde offshore permit, that gas produced from the project will be used to feed an LNG plant, two sources have told Interfax Natural Gas Daily.

“The government […] will allow the project to move forward as an FLNG vessel,” one source close to SNH, Cameroon’s state-owned oil and gas player, told Interfax Natural Gas Daily.

The agreement has not yet been formalised, but the source said he expected this to happen soon.
