The Cameron LNG project in Louisiana is behind schedule for the second time this year, San Diego-based developer Sempra Energy announced during an earnings call on Friday.
Sempra Chief Executive Debra Reed said it would be “reasonable” to expect Cameron’s first train to be delayed to 2019, with the second and third trains following later that year.
In March, Reed said the project was scheduled to start up this year and reach capacity in 2018.
