Kosmos Energy has posted a pre-tax profit of $8,608 for the first six months of the year. The company made a loss during the same period last year.
Kosmos Chairman and Chief Executive Andrew Inglis said during the results announcement that the company plans to drill five prospects in two offshore basins over the next 18 months.
Kosmos reiterated its intention to reach FID on the Greater Tortue gas development alongside its partner BP in 2018, and to produce first gas by 2021....
