PetroChina has said its Changqing Oilfield unit has resumed production at the Zizhou gas field.

Changqing Oilfield had shut down 18 gas gathering stations and 239 wells on 26 July because of a flood caused by heavy rainfall.

All facilities had resumed production by Wednesday, with output averaging 3.6 million cubic metres per day, equal to the daily rate before the shutdown.
