Shell said it has not written off its LNG Canada project, which it aims to build in British Columbia, according to a Bloomberg report.
The announcement follows the cancellation by Petronas last week of the Pacific NorthWest LNG project, which was to have been built in the province.
Mitsubishi, PetroChina and Kogas, the other LNG Canada shareholders, are still considering an FID scheduled for 2019, Shell Chief Executive Ben van Beurden said in a conference call on Thursday.
